Purpose and legal basis

When you use the app and the website, technically necessary data such as IP address, device and usage data are processed to provide and secure the services, fix errors and improve them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients

Service providers for hosting, statistics and error analysis acting as processors, and providers of content such as dictionary data and recordings. Data may be transferred to the USA, where possible on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Storage period

Data are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
